Speckled Brown Trout is the warm speckled clay body of your dreams inspired by the rich, toasty tone of Kodiak with the beloved speckle of Speckled Buff. This smooth mid-fire clay fires to a medium red-brown with natural manganese specks that shine through glazes beautifully.

Perfect for mugs, bowls, and functional wares where visual texture matters, this body performs best at cone 6 with no hold. Due to its iron and speck content, firing hotter than cone 7 may lead to bloating, testing recommended.
