About Us

Ember & Bloom was born out of something simple: I cared, and I wanted a place where that actually mattered.

The more I talked with other potters, students, peers, friends, the more I kept hearing the same things: misfiring, broken pieces, long delays, poor instruction and that sinking feeling that once their work left their hands, it was out of their control. And no one seemed to blink.

But I did.

I knew there had to be a better way. I wanted a space where potters felt respected. Where their work was fired with consistency and actual care. Where timelines matter. Where their work matters. Where students can learn, practice, and create without judgment.

Ember & Bloom is a community-rooted resource, shaped by the needs I’ve seen, the stories I’ve heard, and the makers I’ve met along the way.

It’s for the for the makers, learners, and clay-curious creatives. Anyone looking for a space where their work is handled and fired with intention.

If Ember & Bloom didn’t exist, I think something in me would feel missing. And I know I’d be doing this community a disservice. Because I have the vision, the motivation, and the deep belief that this craft deserves more care, and more respect, than it’s often given.

I started with questions, not answers. No one showed me how to do this and I learned everything the long way. But I kept going, because something in me refused to quit.

And now? I want to be that starting point for someone else.
Because everyone deserves the chance to build something they’re proud of and a place that believes in them while they do it.

Welcome to Ember & Bloom. You belong here.
