Kodiak is a rich, warm brown stoneware clay with excellent plasticity and a smooth texture, making it a favorite for functional pottery. Its medium-dark tone fires to a soft mocha cream in oxidation and pairs beautifully with clear glaze or bold glaze contrasts.
