To-Go Cup Sippers is a beginner-friendly handbuilding workshop designed to help you slow down, get playful, and create your own handmade version of the internet’s favorite trend.

This class is rooted in everyday ritual — making pieces that feel personal, practical, and a little bit elevated. Think sculpted ceramic cups with fitted sipper lids, soft curves, cozy proportions, and surfaces that feel good in your hands. There’s no rush here; the goal is to enjoy shaping something you’ll actually reach for daily.

You’ll build your own ceramic to-go cup using slab or soft-form techniques, shaping the body and creating a functional sipping lid. Add carved details, subtle texture, or underglaze accents to make it uniquely yours. Each piece will be fired and finished by the studio, ready to accompany your morning coffee, tea, or matcha ritual once complete.

All levels welcome, beginners encouraged.

What You’ll Do:

• Use 2 pounds of clay to slab-build a trendy to-go cup
  
• Add personality with carving, texture, and surface details
• Paint your pieces with underglaze to highlight your design

Class Details:

Location: 2132 E Bijou Street, Downtown Colorado Springs.
Ember & Bloom is located inside a secure building — please park in the back lot and enter through the green door with the wooden staircase. Your instructor will unlock the door for you!

Duration: 2 hours (exact class times vary; please choose below). Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in.

Class Size: Classes require a minimum of 4 people and are capped at 10 people to keep the experience personal and hands-on.
If a class does not meet the minimum, Ember & Bloom reserves the right to refund your purchase, transfer your spot, or combine sessions to ensure a great creative experience for everyone.

Age Requirement: Adults, 18+.

Price Includes: Clay, tools, underglazes, firings, and a fully guided 2-hour class. 

Firing & Pickup:

Your pot will be carefully dried, bisque fired, and glaze fired by the studio.
Please allow 4 weeks for completion. You’ll receive an email once they’re ready, and will have 2 weeks to pick up after notification.
Please opt in for marketing emails to ensure you receive your pickup notification!

Refund Policy:

Cancellations made 7 days or more before class can be transferred to a future session or used as credit toward another workshop.
Refunds are not available for no-shows or cancellations made within 7 days class time.
