Fairy Garden Houses invites kids (ages 5+) and their grown-ups to handbuild charming little fairy dwellings—think tiny doors, mushroom roofs, windows, pathways, chimneys, and all the magical details your imagination can dream up.

In this 1.5 hour workshop, you’ll coil, pinch, carve, and decorate your piece with underglaze so it’s full of personality and fairy-approved charm.

This workshop is all about play, not perfection.
Kids get to explore textures and ideas, adults get to create alongside them, and you both walk away with something sweet, meaningful, and handmade.

All levels welcome, beginners encouraged.

What You’ll Do:

• Build a small clay fairy house or cottage
• Add details like mushrooms, flowers, vines, windows, doors, cobblestones, and critters
• Use underglazes to bring your home to life
• Create together at a slow, gentle pace
  

Class Details:

Location: 2132 E Bijou Street, Downtown Colorado Springs.
Ember & Bloom is located inside a secure building — please park in the back lot and enter through the green door with the wooden staircase. Your instructor will unlock the door for you!

Duration: 1.5 hours (exact class times vary; please choose below). Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in.

Class Size: Classes require a minimum of 4 people and are capped at 10 people to keep the experience personal and hands-on.
If a class does not meet the minimum, Ember & Bloom reserves the right to refund your purchase, transfer your spot, or combine sessions to ensure a great creative experience for everyone.

Age Requirement: 5+ and accompanied by an adult. The ticket price is for one couple (2 people).

Price Includes: Clay, tools, underglazes, firings, and a fully guided 1.5-hour class. 

Firing & Pickup:

Your Garden Houses will be carefully dried, bisque fired, and glaze fired by the studio.
Please allow 2–4 weeks for completion. You’ll receive an email once they’re ready, and will have 2 weeks to pick up after notification.

Refund Policy:

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before class can be transferred to a future session or used as credit toward another workshop.
Refunds are not available for no-shows or cancellations made within 48 hours of class time.
