New Mexico ChoCoLate is a rich, dark mid-fire stoneware that throws like a dream and fires to a deep brown finish at cone 5–6. Its velvety body brings warmth and drama to any form, whether you're wheel-throwing or hand-building. This clay pairs beautifully with lighter glazes, offering striking contrast and bold surface depth.
Note: darker clay bodies can sometimes stain tools or hands, so a dedicated sponge or rib is recommended.
