Iron Lustre

Iron Lustre (PC-33) is a deceptively dynamic mid-fire glaze that transforms richly depending on how it's applied. In thin layers, it reads as earthy brown, think subtle and grounded. In thicker areas, it floats into silvery-blue tones that glow and shift with the light. Textured surfaces welcome deeper contrast, while layering with other Potter’s Choice glazes brings even more complexity and visual intrigue. A smart pick for pottery that needs both nuance and punch.
