Girl’s Night Clay Class – Trinket Trays & “Girl Dinner” Plates

This 2-hour class is all about good company, good vibes, and making something perfectly imperfect — just like your favorite “girl dinner.”

You’ll learn how to handbuild your own trinket tray or small plate using clay slabs, and personalize it with textures, stamps, or underglaze painting. Whether you want something to hold jewelry, snacks, or olives and cheese, this is your night to create, laugh, and unwind.

No experience needed — beginners encouraged!

What You’ll Do:

• Roll and shape clay to build a trinket tray or mini plate (up to 2 lbs of clay)
• Learn simple handbuilding techniques (slab, smoothing, shaping edges)
• Decorate with textures or paint using underglazes
• Enjoy an evening of community and creativity — the perfect girls’ night out!

Class Details:

• Location: 2132 E Bijou Street, Downtown Colorado Springs. Note: Ember & Bloom is located inside a secure building. Please park in the back parking lot, and enter through the green door with the wooden staircase, your instructor will unlock the door for you!
• Duration: 2 hours (exact class times vary; please choose below) and arrive 5-10 minutes early to settle in. 
• Class Size: Classes require a minimum of 4 participants and are capped at 10 to keep the experience personal and hands-on.
  If a class does not meet the minimum, Ember & Bloom reserves the right to refund your purchase, transfer your spot to a future date, or combine sessions to ensure a great creative experience for everyone.
• Age Requirement: Adults only, 18+

Price Includes: All materials, tools, firings, and a fully guided 2-hour class

Firing & Pickup:

Your tray or plate will be bisque and glaze fired at the studio.
Please allow 2–4 weeks for completion. You’ll receive an email once it’s ready, and will have 2 weeks to pick it up after notification. Please opt in for marketing emails to not miss this! 

Refund Policy:

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before class can be transferred to a future session or used as credit toward another workshop.
Refunds are not available for no-shows or cancellations made within 48 hours of class time.
