Flagstone is a fan favorite for a reason. This smooth, dark mid-fire stoneware clay fires to a rich cinnamon red in oxidation and a deep iron-red in reduction, offering warmth and visual depth for both functional and sculptural work.

Blended from high-iron clays and ball clays, Flagstone balances plasticity, strength, and color in one versatile body. Whether you're throwing, hand-building, or sculpting, it offers a soft, terra cotta feel in the wet stage and a stunning surface once fired.

Cone 5–7, but as with all iron-rich clays, reduction results may vary, testing is recommended before gas firing.
