Clay Ornament Workshop – Create & Play with Clay

At Ember & Bloom, we believe creativity should be fun, approachable, and full of joy. 

This 1.5 hour Clay Ornament Workshop is your chance to relax, laugh, and make something that feels a little bit like magic — clay, color, and community all in one.

Taught by Kimbrlei in downtown Colorado Springs, you’ll learn how to roll, cut, texture, and paint clay ornaments using underglazes and stamps. You’ll leave with a set of handmade pieces that are perfect for gifting, hanging on your tree, or decorating your home all year long.

It’s relaxed, social, and beginner-friendly. Come solo or bring a friend for a cozy night of creating!

All levels welcome, beginners encouraged.

What You’ll Do:

• Handbuild a set of clay ornaments (up to 1 lb of clay)
• Cut, shape, and use tools to create textures and patterns
• Paint and personalize your ornaments with underglazes
• Enjoy a relaxed, creative environment with guidance every step of the way

Class Details: 

• Location: 2132 E Bijou Street, Downtown Colorado Springs. Note: Ember & Bloom is located inside a secure building. Please park in the back parking lot, and enter through the green door with the wooden staircase, your instructor will unlock the door for you!
• Duration: 1.5 hours (exact class times vary; please choose below) and arrive 5-10 minutes early to settle in. 
• Class Size: Classes require a minimum of 4 participants and are capped at 10 to keep the experience personal and hands-on.
  If a class does not meet the minimum, Ember & Bloom reserves the right to refund your purchase, transfer your spot to a future date, or combine sessions to ensure a great creative experience for everyone.
• Age Requirement: Adults only, 18+

Price Includes: Clay, tools, underglazes, ribbon, firings and a fully guided 1.5-hour class

Firing & Pickup:

Your ornaments will be carefully dried, bisque fired, and glaze fired by the studio.
Please allow 2–4 weeks for completion. You’ll receive an email once ready, and will have 2 weeks to pick it up after notification. Please opt in for marketing emails to not miss this! 

Refund Policy:

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before class can be transferred to a future session or used as credit toward another workshop.
Refunds are not available for no-shows or cancellations made within 48 hours of class time.
