Aspen

As fresh and bright as Colorado snow, Aspen is a silky-smooth porcelain clay made with high-quality Grolleg and kaolins. With added ingredients for extra plasticity, it’s a dream to throw or handbuild with, more forgiving than most traditional porcelains.

Fires to a cool, clean white in oxidation and a soft, pale gray in other atmospheres. One of the brightest porcelains we carry, and a favorite for functional potters looking for a luminous finish.
