For the makers who value consistency, want affordable support, and need the freedom to drop off on their own schedule.
Designed for independent potters, our monthly kiln plans offer the most consistent, flexible firing experience in Colorado Springs. Your monthly plan includes 4 firings per month (2 bisque, 2 glaze), plus Potter’s Price perks like discounted clay, lower glaze and tool prices, no measuring, priority kiln access, and your own studio access code for flexible drop-off and pickup on your schedule.
We offer three tiers based on how much clay you plan to use, keeping things fair for everyone’s kiln space stays fair and shared:
- The Hobbyist: ~1 bag/month
- The Crafter: ~2 bags/month

All tiers include the same number of firings and perks—pricing reflects the volume of space and support your practice needs.
Clay and glaze aren’t included in your plan, but picking them up is easy—we stock a curated selection of Rocky Mountain Clay, glaze, and tools right at Ember & Bloom. With your Potter’s Price discount, you’ll always pay less than the public, so stocking up is simple, affordable, and right where you fire.

Firing Memberships include:
- A set number of firings each month
- Priority kiln access
- Potter’s Rate discounts on clay, glaze, and tools
- Your own studio access code for easy drop-off and pickup
This option is perfect if you don’t need studio space - just dependable firing and a place that treats your work with respect.
2) In-Studio Memberships
For makers who want a dedicated hobby, regular time in the studio, and a place to keep works in progress.
In-Studio Memberships include:
- Scheduled, self-guided wheel access
- A personal shelf for your work
- Consistent firing for work made in the studio
- Potter’s Rate discount
- A calm, shared studio environment built on trust and care
This is ideal if you’re looking to build a weekly creative rhythm and make pottery part of your life.
No Membership Required
1) Self-Guided Wheel Sessions
Perfect for visiting artists, makers testing the waters before joining, or anyone who wants occasional wheel time without a monthly commitment.
Wheel Sessions include:
- Self-guided use of one wheel during your booked time
- Access to shared studio tools & equipment
- Guarenteed creative time
Clay & firing is optional and can be added separately if you’d like to complete your work.
2) Pay-As-You-Go Firing
For occasional makers or anyone who wants full flexibility without a monthly plan.
Pay-As-You-Go firing includes:
- Cone 04 bisque and cone 6 glaze firings
- Pricing by cubic inch (pay only for the space you use)
- Optional measuring assistance if needed
- Clear timelines and thoughtful kiln care
This option is great if you fire infrequently, are in a bind, testing new work, or prefer total flexibility.
